Us and Them

This is a film for Rhys and her Dad.

I wrote this poem and directed the film after hearing Rhys’ story.
She is an incredible young woman whose strength, warmth and devotion to her father survived through addiction, trauma and loss. I hope I’ve been able to write light into a life that was written off by a society not always equipped to understand real darkness. All my love to Rhys, thank you for letting me be a part of this.
